This retreat is for mothers & adult daughters (ages 18 and older). Since all women are daughters, this retreat is open to all women interested in exploring their mother-daughter relationship, whether you come alone, with a friend or with your mother or daughter.

Your accommodation is a cute and quaint cabin in a gorgeous mountain setting – the cabins are very comfortably furnished and stocked with a range of aromatherapy soap, shampoo, body lotion and herb and floral air fresheners. There is a community cabin which contains a small library, including DVDs, books and games.

On the exercise side, our programme includes nature walks, hikes and yoga.

What is a typical day?

We begin each adventure-filled Wild Soul Retreat day with a unique Nature Morning Meditation. Shortly following we will have a healthy breakfast to prepare us for the day's activities which will range from guided hiking, soaking in the hot springs to transformational activities and time to relax or pamper yourself.

Wild Soul Retreats Tell me about the hiking?

We will be hiking so GET READY!! 

The guided hiking will be easy.  In order to hike these trails you must be in good hiking condition.  The trails are in generally good condition but there may be rough and uneven trails with moderate elevation gain.  

Do I have to participate in everything on the schedule?

You do not need to participate in everything; you can pace yourself so that it is the perfect amount of activity for you. We fully support you in doing as much or as little as is right for you in the moment. The schedule gives you a sense of the flow of each day. It is subject to change, depending upon the needs of the group, weather, etc. We will go over the schedule each day at breakfast.

What weather can I expect?

May in Colorodo is mildly cool to warm during the day, with temperatures in the low 40's to mid 70's. Evenings in the mountains can get pretty cold, so we suggest bringing warm clothes for any nighttime nature activites that will be offered. For hiking specifically, you will need to have proper hiking attire, such as water wicking pants or shorts, hiking shoes, water and a hiking stick if you should need it for balance. Layers are recommended, as Colorado weather can vary dramatically.  

What if I am coming alone?

The majority of the women who attend our retreats come by themselves. Although you may come alone, you will leave the retreat with new, lifelong friends!
